Kitchen Pod being delivered to a private driveway

Kitchen Hire During Renovation

Renovate the room. Keep the routine.

Plan a working temporary kitchen before the old one comes out, so meals, washing and family life have somewhere practical to continue.

The messy middle

Your house can change without life stopping.

Removing a kitchen affects far more than dinner. It changes school mornings, packed lunches, laundry, cleaning and where the household gathers.

A Kitchen Pod moves those routines into one clean, insulated space outside. Your contractors can work without trying to preserve a makeshift corner inside the building.

Plan the handover

Have it ready before the old kitchen goes.

The simplest sequence is to install and test the pod before strip-out begins. That gives the household a clean switch from one working kitchen to another.

  • 01Confirm renovation dates and likely hire length
  • 02Photograph the driveway and delivery route
  • 03Check power, water and drainage
  • 04Schedule delivery before disconnection
  • 05Arrange collection after final fit-out

What you keep

The routines that matter.

01

Cooking

Use a full oven and hob, proper worktop, sink and cold food storage.

02

Cleaning

Keep the dishwasher and washing machine running away from building dust.

03

Eating together

Use the dining space instead of spreading temporary appliances through the house.

04

Clear separation

Give contractors the main kitchen area while the household has a separate working zone.

Renovation planning

Questions to settle early.

When should I make an enquiry?

As soon as your renovation dates and site access are reasonably clear. Booking early gives the best chance of matching delivery to your strip-out date.

Where can the pod be positioned?

A level private hardstanding, usually a driveway, is ideal. We also check the delivery route and the distance to power, water and drainage.

What happens if the building work runs late?

Contact the team as early as possible. Hire dates and availability need to be checked, but renovation programmes often change and the team will explain the available options.

Can we use it as our main kitchen every day?

Yes. The pod is designed for normal household use, with cooking, refrigeration, washing, storage, heating and dining facilities.
